Twinning MK/10/IB/SO/02 “Support to the Employment Service Agency for Implementation of Active Labour Market Measures and Services“ - This project is funded by the European Union.

In the frame of its international cooperation, the Employment Service Agency is engaged in the implementation of the EU-funded Twinning Project.

International partners in the Project are:

- Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany

- Ministry of Social Security and Labour of Lithuania

Experts from the most important labour market administrations of the two countries are involved in the Project. From the Macedonian side experts are involved in the project, in particular experts from ESA on central and regional level, the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, the Ministry of Finance and the social partners in Macedonia. Fostering cooperation with the social partners in Macedonia on central and regional level should be one of the specific products of the project.

The implementation period of the project is 24 months from 01.06.2014 to 31.05.2016.

The project is funded by the European Union with 1.2 million Euros.

The overall objective of the Twinning Project is to improve the quality, efficiency and effects of the services provided by the Employment Service Agency with a view of reducing unemployment and preventing that people in employment get unemployed.
